How to Schedule a successful, healthy day?

  • A great schedule shouldn’t be an enormous to do list that drains you and your only hope is to survive.

  • No.

  • A good, daily schedule should help you to live with the flow of life!

  • If an accomplished ‘task’ leaves you energized and with momentum, then you’ve done the right thing!

It can make all the difference of how you feel during the day.

Recently, I wanted to schedule when to work on my business.

Before that, working on my goals was planned when I felt in the mood, or when other tasks were done. But that wasn’t satisfying to me.

I tell you, since I adapted my schedule, I suddenly have so much more time and energy for everything, even resting, reading, doing nothing! I know it sounds contradictive.

And it leaves me with a fulfilled feelings and the momentum to create more. This is priceless.

It’s a process to get there, yes. I am still improving my routines. They also may change over time.

First become clear on how you want to feel at the end of the day, what you’d like to create and what steps are needed.

Here an example of a normal day in my life. It looks like a lot of tasks. But if you are honest and list down all the things you are doing, you will have a long list, too. The schedule helps you to remember when exactly you are doing what. Your thoughts can focus on what is scheduled. You don't get distracted from 100 others things you would rather do. A calm state of mind leaves you focused.

Try it!

  • 6:15am drink 2 glasses of room temp. water then

  • Yoga or a Fitness class I teach virtually

  • 6:45am Meditation

  • 7:15am wake up kids, get dressed

  • 7:30-8am: breakfast

  • 8:15-9am: working and taking action for my business, actions!

  • 9:15-9:30: short walk outside (not weather depending)with a neighbor, friend

  • 9:30-10:30: studying nutrition and coaching classes

  • 10:30-11:30 Coaching clients

  • 11:30-12:30 cooking and eating lunch

  • 12:30: short 15min relaxed walk for digestion

  • 1pm: listen to meditation or focusing on breath for 20min

  • 1:30 clients, finish class studying

  • 2:30: writing down what to accomplish for the next day

  • 3:30Preaparing and eating healthy snacks with the kids

  • 4 pm Exercising with the kids or by myself while kids enjoy outdoor activities (bike ride, walk, run)

  • 5-5:30 relaxing: reading the scripture, reflecting, taking easy

  • 5:50 prep dinner

  • 5-5:30 realxing: reading the scripture, reflecting, taking easy

  • 7-7:30 reading or playing music with the kids

  • 8-9:30 doing whatever I’d like to and some chores

  • 9:30 shower and bedtime

How I know what exactly to do during the working on my business hours? I do it with a coach. I tell it to somebody. It makes me do it.

As you know, telling it in your head only, won’t make big changes. We need to talk to at least one person or write about it and share it with someone who will support you. Then it’s easy, it’s out of your way. You don’t have to waste your energy thinking about it, but you’ll do it.
